Winter in Montana |
The Winter in Montana web site is a project by the Montana Department of
Commerce to promote winter tourism attractions in the Montana. Web Doodle,
has been involved with this project since it was started in 1997. Although
a majority of the content and graphics for this web site were not build by
Web Doodle, many of the "value added" services it contains were.

For instance, visitors to this web site can view current snow conditions
for any Ski Resort in Montana. The "module" that displays this information
that can easily be managed by anyone with a minimum of computer knowledge.
Within minutes a new snow report can be published online, for visitors to
view. The snow reports are also archived so that visitors can compare snow
fall with last week or last year. With a simple calendar based navigation
system, they can view dates for many years past.

Another "module" that Web Doodle built was an "Online Coupons" that the
Ski Resorts can use to promote their business, by allowing them to post
discounts and freebies to visitors of the web site. This system is also
extremely easy to use, and allows the Ski Resorts to create new coupons
very quickly. Visitors can then find the coupons on the web site, and
print them off for redeeming at the ski area they choose.
